Antique Reproduction Rocking Horse - $125-250 based on detail

These horses are made from reclaimed pine. They are painted as carousel or rocking horses from the past. The paint is then sanded off to reflect wear and tear from years of love and handling. A finish using Danish Antiquing Oil is applied before the final addition of mane and tail. Jute is used in the more rustic versions. Approx 10" high and 16" long. Excellent for a baby shower gift or on your fireplace mantel.

Spindle People -$20-48

Mounties, sailors, chefs, angels, snowmen are created using railing spindles. They welcome people with their signs and smiling (sleepy, fierce) faces. Range from 1' (some angels and snowmen) - 3' high. Doorstop versions possible.

Custom requests for different professions and signs are welcome. Consider as gift for boss.

Full Sized Spindle People -$150-250

Full sized figures as above are made from bedposts or footboard spindles. They are 5-6" tall.

Mountie, OPP officer, dressage rider, "Red Hatter" lady have been great ideas. Excellent addition to an entrance, family room, porch, man cave or business. A small sign (as OPP carries) or with arm suitable for hanging other heavier items (halter, purse) or resting/holding object (Menu Board, ski poles) are included.

Canada Flags

Painted wooden flags are aged and oiled. Separate pieces are joined with wire and come with either a hanger for garden flag hangers, wall or to hang below your 911 sign without interfering with its importance. Will make any nation's, province, state flag. Solid areas can be lettered as well (Welcome, Canada-eh!, your name, address, etc.)

Art work on flags is also an option - $35-$85 (Consider sending a picture for something special.)

A variety of sizes and options available for basic flags.

Moosecots - $35-55

Moosecots (sit 11" high) are carved, sanded, painted and antiqued, pine moose in various outfits (carved and painted on) that sit on a shelf with their legs dangling. All legs are wired on for flexibility. Dad's Smoking BBQ version, hockey players, wake boarders, skiers, surgeons and other activities or professions are possible. A moose crossing guard is also quite cute or just choose a simple Canadian moose with red scarf ($30).

Fish Whirligig - $35

Whirligigs (9x14") are made from construction materials, buttons, beads and X-ray film. The large fish chases a smaller fish that seems to always escape capture. The stake (28 or 36") and fish are painted and varnished to withstand the weather. The X-ray film (old veterinary radiographs) will become splotchy over time adding further to his character. These are built to withstand strong winds. Great around ponds, pool or hot tubs. Consider placing in a planter to add height.
